WE ARE 10

Hard to believe we’ve ridden 10 times around the sun, but here we are.

This is the 10th edition of PARIA Paperboy; our annual cycling ride-out turned full-blown cultural endurance day. And this year, we’re opening things up.

For the first time ever, Paperboy goes on foot.

We’re launching our inaugural Bad at Sports 10K and 20K running events, alongside the classic Paperboy ride. This build from our super successful Bad at Sports run club from the PARIA caf and we make running kit now - so seemed rude not to.

As one long-time stalwart put it last year:

“It’s like f**kn Christmas in summer.”*

That about covers it.

WHAT IS PAPERBOY?

Paperboy grew from a ride with some mates.
It accidentally became a thing.

Ten years later it’s still the same idea ; people turning up, getting a bit physical, then having a beer and a laugh afterwards.

No racing. No posturing. Maybe a bit of ego (jokes)
Just a good day, done properly.

PAPERBOY, BUT ON FOOT

For the first time, Paperboy isn’t just a ride.

We’re adding a Bad at Sports 10K and 20K run.

This came from the PARIA café run club, which started as a way to move a bit before coffee and somehow turned into a regular thing. We also make running kit now, so this felt inevitable rather than strategic.

If you run a lot: you’ll be fine.
If you don’t: also fine.
