Paperboy 2026 Routes + Event Details

Get ready for the annual Paperboy - a day of punchy climbs, social miles, and proper Leeds hospitality. Here is everything you need to know.

THE VENUE

We’re being hosed by the institution which is :

The Brudenell Social Club. Address: 33 Queen's Terrace, Leeds LS6 1NY.

THE SCHEDULE

08:30: Doors open. Cyclists register with us at the beginning after signing our on-line disclaimer (email link to follow)
- Fuel up with Kickback Coffee and pastries (sweet & savoury) from Not Bakery.
09:30: The Ride departs.
12:00: Run register opens & Pre-run coffee and bakes
12:25: Run register closes

12:30: The Run commences.
14:30 onwards: The After-Party. Expect music, beers, and good vibes in the Brudenell yarden.

THE ROUTES

These aren’t competitive "smashy" races; they are enhanced social sessions. Be friendly, look out for each other, and enjoy the views.

THE RIDE: 45 miles / 4,500 ft of climbing. It’s a punchy one, featuring the Reverse Cow & Calf and a stiff ascent out of Otley. We’ve got a scheduled refueling stop at North Bar Social. ROUTE HERE ON OUR STRAVA PAGE
THE RUN: Two route options are available to suit your legs (run will be sign posted - details to be communicated on the day)

NAVIGATION: All GPX files and route maps are available on our [Strava Page]. Please download these in advance.
Mechanical Self-Sufficiency: The ride is unsupported; please bring your own tubes, pumps, tools and anything you need to get you around

THE SWAG & SHOP

Every rider/runner gets a Paperboy Swag Bag, featuring your Paria tackle in a bespoke musette. The PARIA Pop-Up Shop will be in full swing all day with rare drops and classic kits, alongside pop-ups from our friends Not Bakery (see below).

FOOD & DRINK

BEER: We’ll have plenty on tap, including the return of the Paperboy IPA cans.
FOOD: The Brudenell will have their legendary pies on deck, and we are currently finalizing a guest food vendor for the afternoon.
OTE will be in attendance with full nuttriotion and hydration options

LOGISTICS

KIT & STORAGE: We will have a secure bag drop area for your "bits and pieces." Please ask a member of the team on arrival.
FINISH TIME & CUT OFF: you can ride at your own pace, but clearly we won't be there ALL NIGHT! It's not a ridiculously long route, and we wil be around well into the evening - but just be aware
- FACILITIES: Standard toilets are available for changing - but it could be busy so plan for a queue
PARKING: Brudenell is in a busy residential area—we highly recommend riding, walking, or using public transport. If you must drive, there is a paid lot on Kirkstall Road (near the ITV Studios), which is a 10-minute walk away.
